Welcome to the Strathmore Court Homeowners Association!

Strathmore Court is an association of 440 privately owned homes. We are NOT condominiums or co-ops. The community is made up of 3 sections, with homes built by 3 different builders (Levitt, SHR, Carriage Homes), and original owners have been here since the mid-1970s. There is a variety of layouts, with some homes including basements, garages, one or two story floor plans, and more. A nine member Board of Trustees, elected by homeowner/members of the association, oversee the operations of the Strathmore Court Homeowners Association. Day to day activities are performed by The Management Company of Blue Point, NY and there is an on-site full time superintendent as well.

The clubhouse is tenatively scheduled to re-open on April 1.

The gym equipment is not being upgraded during this renovation, but that project is under review for the next phase.

Thank you for your patience during the clubhouse upgrade.

OUR BAGEL BREAKFAST/BRUNCH was a great success! Good luck to Bob Pavlecka as he starts his new life in North Carolina.
Webmaster Note: Thanks to all who came to wish me luck and thanks to all Strathmore Court residents for being great neighbors!

Effective May 1, 2021
Trash pickup service on Monday and Thursday. You may use the green or blue tote for garbage service on those days.
Bulk pickup every Monday.
No more recycling on Wednesdays. You no longer need to keep recyclables separated. Place all trash out on the curb on Mondays and Thursdays. Maggio's will handle all recycling at their state of the art recycling center.

Homeowner Reminder

Any and all homeowners not picking up after their pet on common area will be subject to a mandatory fine (no warning).

Any and all homeowners not picking up after their pet on their property will be reported to the Board of Health as this attracts rodents and is a nuisance to their fellow HOA members.

Food Drive

Our November 22, 2020 Food Drive for Long Island Cares was extremely successful! The generous neighbors throughout our community donated a total of 950 pounds of food and $750. L.I. cares will use everything to help many families in need. Thank you to Anita Risener and her committee of volunteers for their work, and you can see it reflected in the accompanying photos.

A Message to Our Community

Please know that the board and The Management Co. are doing their best to maintain our community within the boundaries and guidance set by local, state, and federal governments. Landscapers are working and, as always, they are dependent on the weather and staffing conditions. To communicate, you can still use for email. We wish you and your families well, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Important SCHOA notice

There have been several reports of car and home break–ins within the community. Be sure to always lock your doors and windows and do not leave items of value in your cars.

Deer and Tick

The Board has researched the deer and tick issue raised by homeowners. Conversations took place with both the Town and County. There may be future programs created, but there are none at this time.
