Garbage and Recycling Collection

Starting January 2026 we will be included in the local Town of Brookhaven collection.

Pick up days in Strathmore Court effective January 5^th , 2026 are Mondays and Thursdays. Please have garbage out by 6am.

Bulk pick up is on Thursdays. 4 items are permitted, please refer to page #9.

Recycling is on Wednesdays (alternating one week plastic, the next paper)

The Town of Brookhaven will supply each homeowner with a 2026 calendar.

Garbage cans cannot be larger than 32 gallons and cannot have an attached lid.

A recycle “CURBY Can” can be purchased through the Town of Brookhaven for $25. You can also purchase your own receptacle and put on the free recycling sticker from the Town of Brookhaven. The Board of Directors is working on having the stickers available at the clubhouse. The community will be notified accordingly.

The cost for the Town of Brookhaven refuse has not been given to the HOA. You may contact the Waste Management Department directly for further information 631-451-TOWN.
